VT Nuclear Services offers proven capability in personal dosimetry through its Berkeley-based facility in Gloucestershire UK, representing over 40 years of operational experience.

During this time we have provided a comprehensive range of instrumentation and approved services to major UK plants under the scrutiny of the Health & Safety Executive's Nuclear Industry Inspectorate (HSE/NII), in full compliance with all current health and safety regulations.

Our services have been expanded to provide a comprehensive package to meet a wide range of personal dosimetry needs including: assessment, calibration, repair and type testing of dosimeters, plus the storage and maintenance of personal dose records for the statutory 50 year period required by HSE.
Approved services include the assessment of whole body dose using electronic dosimeters or film badges. Skin and extremity dosimetry is provided using thermo-luminescent dosimeters (TLD's) and whole body neutron dosimetry using thermo-luminescent Albedo dosimeters.
